March News & Updates
Is it March already? Crocuses and daffodils are poking their heads up--proof that spring's on the horizon. Like our spring bulbs, I've been buried all winter, working hard. Here's what I have going on this month.
Live in Studio:
On Monday, March 12, I'll make another appearance on King 5's Parent to Parent to discuss my latest cover story for ParentMap magazine, "How Green Are We?" Parent to Parent airs at 8:15am on channel 6/16 in Western Washington. Not local? Catch it at King 5's website.
If you missed my February Parent to Parent spot on raising only children, here it is:
On Newsstands Now:
My March cover story for ParentMap magazine explores the question "How green are Seattleites , really?" (The answer: pretty darn green. In fact, we're downright mossy.) Check it out and see for yourself.
I also wrote a cover story for March's Pregnancy & Newborn magazine on third-trimester nutrition essentials.
I'm also contributing to March issues across the country, from Suburban Parent to Connecticut Parent. Check out my article "Momsomnia" in MetroKids magazine.
Honors:
My article "Homeschool Cool," the cover story for ParentMap's most recent LearningMap special edition, was honored in Parenting Media Association's 2012 awards. Cool, indeed!
And one of my recent ProSquad columns on naps (one of my favorite topics) was recently featured by Daily Buzz Moms.
